I’d wondered about using a travel agent for years and always assumed it wasn’t worth it, because you can find so much online and it’s often cheaper to book yourself. How wrong I was.

I used Nadine and her team at travl.love to book a holiday last year, and it was an amazing experience. They actually advised against the hotel we’d planned on and suggested its sister hotel instead, which turned out to be even better, for reasons I never would have found online. They also picked up on so many small preferences I hadn’t even mentioned, from the best seats to book on the plane to the restaurants we’d want to reserve. It made the whole trip even better.

We’ve since booked more trips with them. On one, our dates had to move, which would normally have meant a real headache liaising with lots of different people. Instead it was one quick message to the team and it was all handled.

My fiancé and I regularly use this team of incredible people for our amazing (and frequent) trips around the world. It's a personal concierge-style experience: immediate communication, insightful knowledge and a friendly, bespoke approach. I've just returned from my own hen party in London with 16 (really rather demanding yet lovely) ladies, and the whole two-day affair was seamless. Only been here a few hours and already this is the most unbelievable place I've ever been. When I met Nadine and she told me about her business, she said, 'I just really want to help people have transformational experiences, not just holidays.' I could tell she really meant it. Six Senses had been on my vision board for five years. Her team have been unbelievable, from booking to all the special touches. I'd 1000% recommend. It's not an ad. I paid for my trip. I'm only sharing because I really rate Nadine.

From the very first conversation, Nadine, Alison and the travl.love team went to extraordinary lengths for us… before, during and after our trip. Every detail was thought through, every question answered with patience, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Donna Portals was a fabulous hotel, and dinner at Yara in Puerto Portals was one of the best meals we've ever had. Even in 39°C heat, we packed in a jet ski safari, a private boat tour with sea scooters, water skiing and Hobie cat sailing on the north coast. What truly set Nadine and her team apart was the service. Second to none. We're already looking forward to our next adventure together.

Our trip was an absolute trip of a lifetime. Every detail was thought of and we didn't worry about anything. Apart from the boomslang in the car park! Mala Mala even now makes me emotional; we were just blown away. Our game experiences were out of this world, and everything flowed so well.

You outdid yourselves. Flights, cancelled flights, Dubai, Milan, Como, several stops in the UK. Thank you for being amazing.

A big thank you for all your help with the trip. All the organisation and the people on the ground we met were so kind and welcoming. Our guide and the InterContinental were perfect. In hindsight, we should have listened to your advice on location. Lesson learned for the future!

The hotel was amazing; we can't recommend it enough. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating and really made the honeymoon feel special. For the last two nights, the general manager even upgraded us to one of the two-bedroom villas, which was amazing.

Absolutely stunning. We even caught sight of a couple of bears! We had the best time. So many guests at the wedding were in awe of the trip we'd had before arriving in Edmonton. Thank you for making it so special.
