Booking terms and conditions

Last updated 17th September 2026

Who we are

We are Starlt Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10803217), trading as travl.love. Our registered office is At Aston House Cornwall Avenue, London, N3 1LF. You can reach us at hello@travl.love or on +44 20 4587 3730, or on WhatsApp on 07779 624 139.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Starlt Ltd trading as travl.love. "You" and "your" mean the lead name on the booking and everyone travelling with them.

How we work: we act as your agent

Unless we tell you otherwise in writing, we act only as an agent (or sub-agent) for the hotels, villas, airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, transfer companies and other suppliers we book for you. When you book through us, your contract for each travel service is with the supplier named on your confirmation, not with us.

We may book your whole trip with one tour operator, or book each part with a different supplier. Where we book different suppliers, you will have a separate contract with each of them.

Each supplier's own terms and conditions apply to your booking. They contain important information, particularly about payment, changes and cancellation, so please read them carefully. We are always happy to send you a copy.

As an agent, we are not responsible for the acts or omissions of suppliers or for the services they provide. That does not change the care we take in choosing them, or the help we will give you if something goes wrong.

These terms should be read together with the supplier's terms, your travl.love quote and confirmation, your Travefy itinerary and our Privacy Policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

We do not take bookings through our website. Travel arrangements shown on our website, on social media or in a quote are not an offer by us to sell them. They are an invitation for you to make an offer to the supplier, which we may accept or decline on the supplier's behalf.

1. Quotes, booking and payment

1.1We send quotes by email or WhatsApp. Everything in a quote is subject to availability, and prices may change until your booking is confirmed.

1.2When you ask us to book, you confirm that you are 18 or over and that you have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of everyone in your party.

1.3To secure your booking, you must pay the deposit required by each supplier (or the full amount, if the supplier requires it), together with any travl.love service fee and any insurance premium.

1.4Your contract with the supplier begins when we send you confirmation on the supplier's behalf.

1.5Please check your confirmation as soon as you receive it and tell us straight away if anything is incorrect or missing. Names must match passports exactly. Suppliers charge for name changes and corrections under their own terms. As agent, we are only responsible for errors in documents that we have made.

1.6If you have paid a deposit, the balance must reach us by the due date we give you. If it is still outstanding 7 days after that date, we may add a late payment fee of £50. If we do not receive full payment by the due date, we will tell the supplier, who may cancel your booking and charge the cancellation fees in their terms.

1.7If you have paid a low deposit, the rest of the full deposit must be paid by the date we give you, followed by the balance when it falls due.

1.8Protecting your payments. We will only ever ask you to pay into the bank account shown on your invoice. We will never change our bank details by email or WhatsApp. If you receive a message that appears to do so, please do not pay: call us on a number you already hold for us and check first.

1.9Unless we or the supplier tell you otherwise, all money you pay us for travel arrangements is held on behalf of the supplier(s) concerned.

2. Our service fees

2.1Every trip is different, so we decide whether a service fee applies on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the nature of your request, we may charge a fee for our time and expertise, or we may not.

2.2If a fee applies, we will confirm it in writing (in your quote, by email or by WhatsApp) before we start work. We will tell you the amount, when it is payable, and whether it can be deducted from the cost of your trip. If we have not told you in writing that a fee applies, no fee is payable.

2.3A service fee covers the work we carry out on your behalf. Unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, it is not refundable once we have started work, including if you decide not to book or if you or a supplier later change or cancel the booking.

2.4Where we agree that a fee will be credited against your trip, the credit applies to that trip only. It cannot be transferred to another person or another trip, or exchanged for cash.

2.5If our own error means we cannot provide the service you have paid for, we will refund the relevant fee.

2.6If you agree our service at a distance (for example by email, phone or WhatsApp), you may have a legal right to cancel it within 14 days. By asking us to start work within that period, you agree that if you then cancel within the 14 days, we may keep a proportionate amount for the work already done. Once our service has been fully provided, you lose the right to cancel.

2.7If you ask us to change a confirmed booking, we may charge an amendment fee in addition to anything the supplier charges. We will tell you the amount before making the change.

2.8Suppliers may also pay us commission on bookings. This does not affect the price you pay the supplier.

3. Your information

3.1To make your booking, we must pass the information you give us to the suppliers of your arrangements and to anyone else who needs it to provide them. We may also have to share it with public authorities, such as customs and immigration, where they require it or where the law requires it. For example, if you travel to the United States, US Customs and Border Protection will receive your booking information for security purposes.

3.2Some information is "special category" data, such as health, mobility or accessibility needs, and dietary or religious requirements. We will only share it where it is needed to provide your arrangements. By giving it to us, you consent to our sharing it for that purpose, and you confirm that you have the consent of anyone else in your party whose information you give us.

3.3If your arrangements are outside the UK, the data protection laws there may not be as strong as those in the UK. If we cannot pass your information to the relevant suppliers, we will not be able to make your booking.

3.4We keep a record of your travel preferences so that we can plan future trips around you. If you would rather we did not, just tell us.

3.5Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

4. Prices

4.1We may change the prices shown on our website or in a quote at any time before your booking is confirmed. We also reserve the right to correct errors in both advertised and confirmed prices.

4.2Where a supplier prices in a foreign currency, the amount in pounds may change with exchange rates until you have paid in full. We will tell you if this applies.

4.3Please check the price of your arrangements carefully at the time of booking.

5. Travel insurance

5.1Many suppliers make travel insurance a condition of booking. Whether or not they do, we strongly recommend that you take out insurance from the moment you book. It should cover cancellation by you, medical assistance and repatriation after an accident or illness, loss of baggage and money, and other expenses.

5.2Please send us your policy details so that we can add them to your Travefy itinerary.

5.3If we arrange your policy, please check it carefully and make sure you have given the insurer all relevant information, including any pre-existing medical conditions. Failing to do so may invalidate your cover.

5.4If you decide to travel without insurance, we may ask you to confirm this in writing.

6. Special requests and accessibility

6.1Please tell us about any special requests (for example dietary requirements, cots, connecting rooms or room location) when you book. We will pass every request to the supplier and note it in your itinerary, but we cannot guarantee it will be met, and we are not liable if it is not.

6.2If anyone in your party has a medical condition, disability or mobility need that may affect their trip, please tell us before you book so that we can check the arrangements are suitable.

7. Changes and cancellations

If you want to change or cancel

7.1Requests to change or cancel must come from the lead name, in writing, by email to hello@travl.love or by WhatsApp to 07779 624 139. A request takes effect when we receive it. Requests received outside our office hours (9.30am to 6pm UK time, Monday to Saturday) take effect on the next working day, so please bear this in mind when a supplier's deadline is close.

7.2Please do not treat a change as made until we have confirmed it to you in writing. We will always try to help, but we cannot guarantee that a supplier will accept a change.

7.3Changes and cancellations are subject to the supplier's terms. Suppliers may charge up to 100% of the cost, and charges normally increase as the departure date approaches.

7.4Most scheduled airlines do not allow changes to tickets, so full cancellation charges usually apply. Most low-cost airlines charge 100% from the time of booking.

If a supplier changes or cancels

7.5We will tell you as soon as reasonably possible if a supplier needs to make a significant change to your confirmed arrangements or to cancel them. We will act as go-between with the supplier on any alternative arrangements or refund they offer, and pass on any refund we receive, but we have no further liability to you.

8. Arrangements we make while you are travelling

8.1Some clients prefer to keep part of a trip open, or to change plans while they are away. When we arrange further travel services after you have set off:

  • each new arrangement is a separate booking with its own supplier, and we will confirm it to you separately;
  • your agreement by WhatsApp or email is your instruction to us to book, and section 1 applies, including payment;
  • short-notice bookings often carry strict or non-refundable terms, and we will tell you what they are before we confirm;
  • we will update your Travefy itinerary; and
  • the financial protection for these bookings may differ from your original booking. Section 10 explains this.

9. Our responsibility to you

9.1Your contract for each travel service is with the supplier, and its terms apply. As agent, we are not responsible for providing the arrangements themselves. Our responsibility is to make your bookings in line with your instructions, and to provide our own service with reasonable care and skill.

9.2We are not responsible for information about the arrangements that we pass on to you in good faith.

9.3If we are found liable to you on any basis, our maximum liability is limited to twice the cost of your booking (or the appropriate proportion of it, if not everyone on the booking is affected).

9.4We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or that of our employees acting in the course of their employment, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

10. Financial protection

Your payments to us

10.1We are a member of Protected Trust Services (PTS), membership number 6566. Money you pay us for your travel arrangements is held in a secure, ring-fenced trust account, managed by independent trustees. You can verify our membership by contacting PTS directly at protectedtrustservices.com/member-listing.

Package holidays

10.2We do not put together package holidays ourselves. Where we book a package from a tour operator, that tour operator is the organiser. It is fully responsible for the package, including its financial protection, and we will give you its confirmation.

10.3If we book a tour operator's package and also book a separate travel service for you with another supplier, that separate service does not become part of the package, and it does not make us an organiser under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.

Flights

10.4When you buy an ATOL protected flight or flight inclusive holiday from us, you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This lists what is financially protected, where you can get information on what this means for you and who to contact if things go wrong.

Single travel services

10.5If you book a single travel service, such as a hotel only, it may not be financially protected. We recommend paying by credit card where possible and choosing insurance that includes cover for supplier failure.

Linked travel arrangements

10.6A) When you book with us in person, by phone, by email or by WhatsApp: if, after selecting and paying for one travel service, you book additional travel services for your trip or holiday via our company, you will NOT benefit from rights applying to packages under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018. Therefore, we will not be responsible for the proper performance of the individual travel services. In case of problems, please contact the relevant service provider.

10.7B) When we send you links to other websites: if you book additional travel services for your trip or holiday via these links, you will NOT benefit from rights applying to packages under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018. Therefore, our company will not be responsible for the proper performance of those additional travel services. In case of problems, please contact the relevant service provider.

10.8However, if you book any additional travel services (A) during the same visit to, or contact with, our company, or (B) via links we provide not later than 24 hours after receiving confirmation of the booking from our company, the travel services will become part of a linked travel arrangement. In that case, as required by the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, we have protection in place to refund your payments to us for services not performed because of our insolvency. Please note that this does not provide a refund in the event of the insolvency of the relevant service provider.

10.9You can read the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 at legislation.gov.uk.

11. Passports, visas, entry requirements and health

11.1Your Travefy itinerary includes the entry requirements for each country you are visiting, with links to official sources. We provide this in good faith as general guidance, based on British passports and the rules at the time we prepare it. Rules change, sometimes at short notice, and they depend on your nationality and circumstances.

11.2Meeting passport, visa and immigration requirements is your responsibility. Please check them with the relevant embassy or consulate and the FCDO's travel advice at gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice before you travel, including any visa or electronic travel authorisation (such as the US ESTA). Neither we nor the supplier(s) accept responsibility if you cannot travel because these requirements have not been met.

11.3Many countries require your passport to be valid for up to six months beyond your return date, and much of Europe also requires it to have been issued within the last 10 years. Please check your passports as soon as you book.

11.4We can give general information about health requirements for your destination, but please check with your GP or a travel clinic in good time before you travel. TravelHealthPro and fitfortravel (NHS) are useful sources.

12. Your Travefy itinerary

12.1Once your trip is booked, we send you a digital itinerary through Travefy. You can open it as a link, in the Travefy app or as a PDF. Once downloaded to the app or saved as a PDF, it works offline.

12.2Your itinerary brings your arrangements and our local knowledge together in one place. The confirmations, e-tickets and vouchers issued by suppliers are the official record of your booking. If anything in your itinerary differs from them, the supplier's documents apply. Please tell us so that we can correct it.

12.3Flight and transfer times can change after we issue your itinerary. Please check your flights with the airline before you travel, including at online check-in.

12.4Where we make a restaurant reservation or book an experience for you as a courtesy, it is held with that restaurant or provider on its own terms, which may include cancellation or no-show charges. Recommendations we have not booked are suggestions only, and we are not responsible for them.

12.5Local notes, rules and emergency numbers are given in good faith and may change. Please follow local guidance and the instructions of local authorities.

12.6Your itinerary contains personal and booking details. Please do not share the link publicly.

12.7Travefy is a third-party platform, and its own terms and privacy policy apply to the app. We are not responsible if it is temporarily unavailable, so we recommend saving the PDF to your phone before you leave.

13. Accommodation ratings and descriptions

13.1Ratings are those given by the relevant supplier. They are a guide to the services and facilities you can expect. Standards and ratings vary between countries and between suppliers, and we cannot guarantee their accuracy.

13.2Descriptions and images on our website, on social media, in quotes and in itineraries are provided on behalf of the supplier(s) concerned and give a general idea of the services they offer. Not every detail can be included. Where we describe a property we have visited, the description reflects our experience at the time. All services are subject to availability. If you would like more detail about any accommodation or service, please ask us.

14. Before you travel

14.1Please make sure all your travel, passport, visa and insurance documents are in order, and allow plenty of time to check in at the airport or port.

14.2Some airlines require you to reconfirm your flight before departure. If you do not, you may be refused boarding and are unlikely to receive a refund.

15. Travel documents

15.1We send your documents (such as invoices, confirmations, e-tickets and insurance policies) electronically, by email, WhatsApp or through your Travefy itinerary. If you need printed documents, please ask. We will post them by tracked delivery, and you will pay the postage.

15.2Once documents have left us, we are not responsible for their loss unless it is caused by our negligence. If tickets or documents need to be reissued, you must pay any costs, unless the reissue is due to our error.

16. If something goes wrong

While you are away

16.1If there is a problem with any of your arrangements, please tell the supplier (for example, hotel reception or the local representative) immediately, so they have the chance to put it right. Please also let us know on the contact number in your itinerary, and we will help. If a problem is not reported at the time, the supplier has less opportunity to investigate and resolve it, and any compensation you are entitled to may be reduced or lost.

When you are home

16.2Because your contract is with the supplier, formal complaints about the arrangements are for the supplier to resolve, but we will help you take them up. Please write to us at hello@travl.love within 28 days of your return, with your booking details.

16.3If you are unhappy with our own service, please write to us at the same address. We will acknowledge your complaint within 7 working days and aim to give you a full response within 28 days.

17. Law and jurisdiction

17.1These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may choose the law and courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland instead.

18. Changes to these terms

18.1We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website on the date you book is the one that applies to your booking.
