A family watching elephants from an open safari vehicle

Families

A family holiday succeeds or fails on detail nobody puts in a brochure: how long the transfer really takes, whether the kids club is any good, whether the kitchen will feed a four year old at six and the adults at nine.

We build family trips backwards from bedtime, then make them feel like an adventure anyway.

Some of what we've curated

A leopard resting in the shade on a private reserve

A malaria free first safari

A private reserve in the Eastern Cape with a family suite, shorter game drives built around a six year old's attention span, and the Cape winelands afterwards for the grown ups.

A turquoise lagoon and white sandbank in the Maldives

Ten days in the Maldives with three children

A house reef in front of the villa, seaplane timings that avoided a five in the morning start, and a nanny arranged for two evenings so the parents had dinner alone.

A white sand beach and Mayan ruins above turquoise water in Tulum

Half term in Tulum

A beachfront house with staff, cenote mornings, and one day at the ruins before the coaches arrive.

What this looks like with us

The room

Connecting rooms that genuinely connect, checked before you book.

The people

Guides who are good with children, and childcare we would use ourselves.

The timing

Booked early, because the family rooms go first and never come back.
